⚠ Aftermarket & Third-Party Parts
At iFixTechRepairs, we offer both OEM-quality and third-party replacement parts to match your budget and preferences.
Please note: Aftermarket or any third-party parts may trigger a message on your device, such as: “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple display”, “Battery health information not available”, “Apple cannot verify this battery/display/camera”.
These messages are normal and do not affect the performance or safety of the part. They are part of Apple and other manufacturers’ software protocols and appear whenever a part not installed by an authorized service provider is detected — even if the part is of the same quality.
Your device will still function properly, and we always test your repair thoroughly before returning it.
If you’d prefer to avoid these messages entirely, ask us about original high-grade OEM alternatives we offer for select devices.
🧪 Diagnostic Fee Policy
Some repairs require a deeper inspection to properly diagnose the issue. In these cases, we charge a diagnostic fee around $49 and $69, depending on the complexity.
However, if you choose to move forward with the repair after we provide a diagnosis, this fee is often waived or credited toward the total repair cost.
We’ll always explain the issue, provide clear pricing, and get your approval before doing any work.

2. 🚗 Mobile Repair (Driving) Fee
We offer on-site repairs for your convenience if device and location qualify.
- Flat-rate driving fee: $49 if in Portland Area
This covers our travel and setup to repair your device.
3. 💵 Quotes & Additional Charges
- A detailed repair estimate will be provided before any work begins.
- If we uncover additional issues during repair, we’ll contact you first for approval before proceeding.
- No surprise charges — we believe in full transparency.
4. ⏱ Turnaround Time
- Most repairs are completed the same day or within the time frame we specify upfront.
- If delays arise (e.g., part availability, complex issues), we’ll inform you promptly.
5. ✅ Warranty Policy
- All repairs include a 30-day warranty covering parts and labor.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage
- Mishandling
- Water damage
- Tampering or unauthorized repair attempts after our service
- Accidental damage
6. 🔐 Data Protection & Device Testing
- Your privacy is a priority. We take steps to protect your data during service.
- In some cases, we may request your passcode to test:
- Touch ID / Face ID
- Cameras (front & back)
- Flashlight
- Signal/service
- Power functionality
- Touch ID / Face ID
- You’re welcome to be present while we test these functions.
7. 💳 Payment Policies
- Accepted payment methods: Debit Card, Cash
- Full payment is due upon completion of the repair
- If parts need to be ordered we require a deposit before placing the order.
- If you pay for a repair and are eligible for a refund a $20 restocking fee will be charged.
8. ❌ Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
- A 25% cancellation fee may apply if you cancel too late or fail to show.

In rare cases, repairs may carry risk. If a technician discloses a potential risk that could cause further damage (e.g., fragile logic board or pre-damaged components), iFixTechRepairs is not liable if that damage occurs.

We dispose of electronic waste responsibly and follow all local environmental regulations.
14. 🚫 Right to Refuse Service
